Where is your store located?
Mutation Comics & More currently exists as an online store only. We will also have a physical presence at various Comic conventions and markets in the greater Philadelphia area, beginning in early 2024. It is our goal to occupy a brick & mortar space some day in the future.
Are you a "drop shipper"?
No, every product we sell is in our possession. We get weekly shipments of new products from our distributors (Lunar Distribution and Penguin Random House, as of this writing).
We handle all of our own packaging and shipping.
Where do you ship from?
We primarily ship from the Post Office in Mount Laurel, NJ. Our PO Box is located there as well #1436.
We also ship from UPS if you prefer that option.
Do you ship internationally?
We do not ship internationally at this time and apologize for any inconvenience.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated by Shopify's service using Live USPS/UPS rates.
The price will be based on the combined weight of each comic (including each bag/board) and all packaging materials (in most cases a Gemini Mailer sealed inside a polybag/bubble mailer).
Do you offer Free Shipping?
We currently offer Free Ground Shipping (USPS/UPS) on domestic orders over $69.99*.

Why don't you Ship using Media Mail?
From the USPS Web page about Media Mail:
- Media Mail cannot contain advertising. Books shipping as Media Mail may contain incidental book announcements.
- Media Mail is not sealed against postal inspection. Contents can be inspected by the Postal Service to insure pricing eligibility.
Comic books contain advertising and are not eligible for Media Mail. Graphic novels may be eligible because they usually only contain "announcements" (ads) for other books by the publisher.
However, the return label on your package will say Mutation Comics & More. If we ship your package using Media Mail, there is always a chance it will be torn apart for inspection by the USPS. I'd rather not take that chance.
Will my comics (and/or other products) arrive safely?
Getting your comics to you as securely as we can is always our #1 goal. Every comic we sell ships bagged & boarded in a Gemini Mailer. The Gemini is then sealed inside of a polybag or bubble-mailer for added protection against the elements. We combine up to 8-10 (depending on thickness) single comics in a Gemini mailer. We currently use BCW 25 Book Mailers or Gemini Box Mailers for larger quantities.
Trade Paperbacks are bagged & boarded (when possible). All Hardcover, Trades and Large-format books will be bubble-wrapped for additional protection.
Action figures will be wrapped in bubble wrap and secured in a sturdy box with additional packaging (bubble cushioning, peanuts, paper, etc.).
When do New Comics go up on the store?
New Comics are usually added to the store the weekend before Release Day, schedule permitting. They will always be on the store and ready to order before Release Day.

Do you take Pre-orders?
Yes, we recently launched Pre-Orders for upcoming Comics. Please read our policies on Pre-Order Fulfillment and Shipping.
We plan to have Graphic Novels and Manga available for Pre-Order shortly.
If I place an order that contains both PRE-ORDER items and IN-STOCK items, is it possible for you to ship all the in-stock items now and the pre-order items when they're released?
Sorry, we do not split order fulfillments. We encourage customers to place separate pre-orders based on their Release Dates.

Do you buy comics?
We're currently only buying books in bulk quantities of 100 (roughly 1 short box) or more. We're also only looking in the NJ / Philadelphia (Delaware Valley) Area.
