Hello and thank you for visiting MUTATION Comics & More. My name is Steve, and this is my shop. We are a new online comic store based in Southern New Jersey. All of our comics are available through our Online Store (this website), and we will be selling in-person at Local Comic Conventions and Shows (NJ/PA/NY/DE) in the very near future (April 2024). We do not have a brick & mortar location (yet...).
I had the idea for a comic shop called MUTATION a long time ago, though it didn't resemble a website at that time. Like most kids who spent their weekend afternoons digging through the back-issue bins at the local comic shop, I dreamt of owning my own store. Then, like most of those kids, I went on to spend the next few decades doing something completely different (Web & Software Development). Nevertheless, I continued buying, collecting, and reading comics throughout the years, and the dream of MUTATION never entirely left my mind.
So, after spending two-and-a-half decades developing custom software solutions for clients in a variety of industries I have decided to pour all of that experience and my passion for comics into this online store: MUTATION Comics & More.
We’re really just getting started, but I’ve worked hard to build out an online store that has room to grow. My goal is to provide an easy-to-navigate selection of reasonably priced comics for people who love to read and collect. We hope to promote comics as a medium and invite new readers to the hobby.
New books are going up every week and we have a bunch of cool pre-owned and vintage books still getting prepped to be added to the store.
